Critical Literacy is a course in semester 4 in Diploma in English Communication. Critical Literacy describes a particular approach to reading and writing. The reader or writer understands that any texts, be they academic articles, advertisements, and books should not be accepted at face value. Next, critical literacy teach us to remain critically. That is being aware of the purpose which text serve, convey messages, and realising the text purpose. At the end of the learning, students are enable to manage the demands of literacy in critical manners.
